With a home bar and convenient Daily's Cocktails and Mixers, entertaining is always a snap -- whether you've planned your event ahead or on the spur of the moment.
What's in a well-stocked bar?
The right supplies
- Make sure you always have plenty of Daily's! (Sorry, we couldn’t resist.) It's also a good idea to have orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, soda water, and a bag of ice on hand.
- Keep your bar stocked with at least enough liquor for 10 people: 750ml of gin, vodka, white rum, white tequila and blended whiskey, and a variety of beer and wine.
- Plan on 2-5 drinks per guest for your party. For example, if you're planning on having 20 guests, double the above amounts.
- For any occasion it's good to have plenty of non-alcoholic beverages for designated drivers and guests who choose not to drink. Daily's Fruit Mixers are delicious with or without alcohol.
- Some other items you might want to consider are dark rum, gold tequila, scotch, vermouth, tonic water, plus of course any favorite mixers or liquors. And don't forget, it never hurts to have extra...

The right tools
- Blender
- Cocktail shaker with strainer
- Ice bucket with tongs
- Stirring rod or long-handled spoon
- Set of measuring spoons and measuring cups
- Jigger
- Cutting board and knife
- Towels
- Bottle opener

- Be sure to have plenty of cocktail napkins, coasters and toothpicks on hand.

The right glasses
- At a minimum, have a set each of cocktail glasses and rocks glasses (also called old-fashioned glasses) and a variety of wine glasses.

The right garnishes
- You can't go wrong with lemons, limes, oranges and maraschino cherries, which go with most Daily's drinks.
- Don't forget celery if you're planning on serving Bloody Marys.
- Most fruit and vegetable garnishes are perishable, so it's a good idea to get them just before the party.
- Salt and sugar are great for rimming glasses -- it looks great, and it's a delicious complement to your drinks.
