The Secret of Portion Control
Part of a low calorie approach to cocktails is simply to use less of the stuff with the calories!

For mixed drinks, the traditional portion of a distilled spirit is 1 ½ oz. You probably won’t notice a taste difference if you lower that to 1 oz.
